After the patient’s assessment and admission to the hospital, they’ll receive care from a team of professionals led by physicians who are board certified in psychiatry and internal or family medicine. Every patient receives 24-hour nursing care to support their personal treatment plan of therapy, medication regimen, education and training to meet their unique needs. Meals and snacks are served in a community dining room.

We accept Medicare and most managed Medicare and commercial insurance plans. Each Sana hospital contracts with insurance plans in their local area. A list of accepted insurance plans can be found on the hospital location page.
Sana aims for an easy and seamless admissions process. Referrals may be made by a family member, emergency department staff, senior living facilities, physician’s office, home health agency staff, community agencies, and law enforcement. Individuals may self-refer.
Our psychiatrist oversees and directs psychiatric treatment based on the patient’s needs, and our internal or family medicine physician oversees the patient’s medical care by providing a coordinated and comprehensive plan of action.
